Adama Delphine Fawundu is an award winning Sierra Leonean-American visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Fawundu received her MFA from Columbia University. She was named OkayAfrica's 100 Women making an impact on Africa and its Diaspora. Fawundu is also a 2018 Rema Hort Mann Emerging Artist Awardee. She was named 100 influential women in photography by the UK's Royal Photography Society. She's a 2019 Center for Book Arts artist in residence and just completed her Fall 2018 artist in residency at Brooklyn's BRIC Arts Media. Fawundu's works has been exhibited and collected on an international scale.
